New York is a city of inspiration.
There are so many things going on there, that there’s no surprise I found myself combining exploration of the city with advertising technologies ecosystem.
For the first time in my life, I went to the Ad:Tech conference, which is one of the biggest events for advertising professionals. Before the ad:tech conference there’s actually a week of different events in advertising, and if you already partner with some of the organizing companies, you might be invited to them.
I went to Appnexus Summit which was the event mostly for C-level executives from Appnexus partners. The event was dedicated to showing the progress of Appnexus so far and also to cover the trends in AdTech, the biggest ones are SoMoPro (Social-Mobile-Programmatic).
After the summit, I went straight to the Ad:tech conference, as I already had lots of meetings booked. Generally the best use of time for the conference is booking all the meetings in advance, so you would get to know personally the maximum amount of people, and use other time in getting to know people with booths.
I’ve made my best in terms of meetings and new business opportunities at the conference and was happy to explore the city for the rest of the time.
